UNSEEN, UNHEARD, FARMERS STILL IN NEED.
While the storm news fades, the crisis in remote areas particularly in Barangay Sapangdaku, Cebu is far from over. This remote community, tragically overlooked by major relief efforts and news coverage, was devastated by the typhoon and flood during typhoon TINO on November 4th
They need our help now—food, clothing, and building materials—to rebuild their lives. Let’s make sure Kangsi is seen. Because they are a remote, interior community, they have not received the attention or aid needed to recover. Every day is a struggle for survival.
These families are primarily farmers—the very people who feed our communities. The flash floods and massive landslides did not just destroy their houses; they wiped out their crops, flower farms, their fields, and their tools, destroying their only source of income.
Your small act of kindness can bring hope to this resilient but struggling community. Let’s stand with our neighbors in Sitios Camellano and Kangsi.
HOW TO HELP:
Every year-end we have been raising funds to bring joy to children in the uplands and to help people affected by calamities, We call it #ProjectGreenbag. Since 2021, Project Greenbag has been about bringing Christmas joy to children. This year, we are redirecting the efforts of Project Greenbag to raise immediate relief funds for shelter, food, and essentials to these farmers.
