Project Green Bag is a flagship community initiative by Survival & Outdoor Skills Cebu dedicated to uplifting children and families in remote upland areas. While our core mission centers on an annual outreach to support young learners in communities like Babag and Sapangdaku, Project Green Bag also serves as our immediate response mechanism when disaster strikes.
Whether providing school essentials to upland children or delivering critical relief supplies to communities affected by typhoons, earthquakes, and other natural calamities, Project Green Bag carries hope where assistance is needed most.
What We Do:
-
Annual Upland Outreach: Distributing essential school supplies, hygiene kits, slippers, and hot meals to 50–100 children in remote mountain villages.
-
Calamity & Disaster Relief: Mobilizing emergency aid, food packs, clean water, and relief supplies for families impacted by typhoons, earthquakes, and emergencies.
-
Health & Hygiene Education: Interactive sessions teaching proper hygiene habits alongside the distribution of hygiene kits.
-
Nature & Outdoor Literacy: Instilling environmental care, basic outdoor awareness, and respect for nature in young learners.
-
Mentorship & Community Support: Storytelling, team games, and guidance sessions led by our dedicated volunteers and safety staff.
